 DAP Construction – The Professional Builder

DAP Construction is a Professional Builder Company specializing in building Extentions, Lofts, New buildings  since 1985, with most of our work being undertaken directly for homeowners. Our work is generally awarded through personal recommendation. We also work for major insurers, local authorities and housing associations, having passed their audit procedures for technical competence, financial stability and health-and-safety performance. Since our founding we have grown steadily year on year.

Nearly all of DAP Constructions  work is in the residential sector, but we have done commercial fit out work for Main Contractors.. When dealing with homeowners we feel that the personal approach offered by a small company is important. However, we are still able to offer the financial stability, quality control, guarantees and management systems provided by a larger company.

The Directors have a hands-on approach to all projects. DAP Construction is a Chartered Building Company and oversees a dedicated team of qualified contractors who in turn run the projects from the point when the first spade hits the ground to the last coat of paint. We have developed quality control systems to ensure projects run on time and to budget.

Over the years we have been able to build a portfolio of contractors whose capabilities and reliability have been tried and tested on various of projects. We employ specialist groundworks, building and decorating teams with whom we have worked for many years. Each team has one or two specialisations. This means that underpinning, brickwork, carpentry and other key trades involved in  construction, can be undertaken without the need to use untested subcontractors with whom we have no track record.
